Fast forward through a stint in advertising, producing commercials, and a decade at CBS, Jodi found her true calling – voiceover coaching. It's been over 20 years, and she's been rocking the coaching world ever since. 

"I started coaching while I was still writing and producing, but eventually, I thought, why not do this amazing thing full-time?"

Despite the rocky start, the session ended well. Jodi, being the powerhouse she is, promptly called the actor's agent to set the record straight. 

"I don't have embarrassing moments, but let me tell you about the time an actor almost turned a recording session into a therapy session." 

Here's the scoop: Jodi hired a prominent actor for a promo session at a studio. The actor, initially charming, entered the booth and unleashed a tirade against the state of television. For a good ten minutes, he ranted about everything wrong with the industry. 

Confused but determined, Jodi finally asked, "Do you not want to do this?" To which the actor insisted he would, albeit begrudgingly. The session proceeded, with some resistance to direction, but they eventually got a good result. After the actor left, Jodi immediately called his agent to share her experience. 

"When I got back to my office, there was a bouquet of flowers. An A-list actor had sent an apology in floral form. Bizarre, right?"
